Agro-based industries in Punjab is the need of hour- BJP's Sanjeev Vashisht

Mohali, February 5, 2022: BJP, United Akali Dal, and Punjab Lok Congress joint candidate Sanjeev Vashisht campaigned door to door in houses and shops in Sohana village. Gian Chand Gupta presently working as Speaker of the Haryana Legislative Assembly also accompanied him.
People of Sohana lamented about the development village. Addressing a meeting in Sohana, Sanjeev Vashisht said that BJP does not believe in making false promises. Rather, it plans for development. It can be cited with the example of the BJP government at the Center, which has taken care of every category.
Among the eleven resolutions of the NDA, the main agendas for the development of Punjab are peace, mafia-free Punjab, drug-free Punjab, prosperous farmers, the best education, health facilities.
"Many welfare schemes have been set up like for taking care of poor in Punjab, old people and widows to get pension of Rs. 3,000 per month, food in Guru Kirpa canteen for the poor only in rupees five, Hostels for Scheduled Caste Students, One lakh rupees help for labours in case of an accident, to provide 10 lakh rupees loan for women for small business under Empowered Women Scheme," he said.
Sanjeev Vashisht expressed that agro based industries in Punjab are the need of the hour to provide employment opportunities to the youth and to improve the economic condition of the farmers.
On this occasion Arvinder Kaur, Ranjit Kaur, Harjit Kaur, Harbans Kaur, Armit Pal Singh, Tripta Devi, Bimala Devi, Kasturi Lal, Padma Rani, Karamjit Singh, Baljinder Singh, Prabhjot Singh, Rajni Devi, Kaka Kapde Wala, Daljit Singh, Rajni Devi and Sham Lal were present.
