Ferozepur farmers visit 2nd State Level Environment Conservation Fair
Ferozepur, November 28, 2022: As many as 60 farmers and women of Ferozepur visited 2nd State Level Environment Conservation Fair organized by “SOCH” organisation at Guru Nanak Engineering College Ludhiana, to create awareness among people for environmental protection.
All arrangements were made by the agricultural department and farmer welfare department Ferozepur under the ATMA scheme by Dr.Arzoo Goyal, District Coordinator.
The farmer delegates thanked the agriculture department for making them a part of the fair where a lot of knowledgeable information was gathered. They requested that such programs should be conducted in the future also so that information about other agricultural and ancillary businesses is available.
Dr. Lakhwinder Singh Lakhewali and Saint Baba Gurmeet Singh organized the fair in which prominent personalities from different sections of the society like Ludhiana Police Commissioner Mandeep Singh Sidhu, Malerkotla SSP Olympian Avneet Kaur, famous writer and poet Dr. Surjit Patar, Dr. Manjit Singh Kang Former Vice Chancellor PAU Gurpreet Singh Toor Retired IPS etc. also participated.
Finally, the group of folk artists 'Rangle Sardar' enthralled the audience with Punjabi folk songs. In this way, this state-level Environment Conservation Fair concluded in the evening, leaving a lot of memories and dreams in people's minds until the next Mela 2023.
Simarpal Singh, Gagandeep Singh, Rajbir Singh and Dalbir Kaur, BTMs of different blocks of the district were also present on this occasion.
