MP Arora, CP, DC join “Have A Heart Foundation” on 300 free heart surgeries celebration event

Ludhiana, October 31, 2023: Have A Heart Foundation (Ludhiana), an NGO, organised an event at Nehru Sidhant Kendra here on Monday evening to celebrate 300 successful heart surgeries.
The chief guest for the event was Sanjeev Arora, MP (Rajya Sabha). Surabhi Malik, Deputy Commissioner, Ludhiana; Mandeep Singh Sidhu, Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana; Manohar D Chatlani, Have A Heart Foundation, Bengaluru; and Balbir Kumar, President, Have A Heart Foundation (Ludhiana) were Guest of Honor on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Arora said he has been told that Have a Heart Foundation (Ludhiana) is an NGO where "Every Life Matters". He said this NGO is working on a mission to make life-saving cardiac surgery and treatment accessible to underprivileged children aged 1 day to 16 years, with no age restrictions in certain exceptional cases. He said this Foundation has partnered with renowned medical experts from renowned hospitals of Ludhiana, Gurugram and Bengaluru, including Hero DMC Heart Institute, Ludhiana.
Arora said it is really a matter of appreciation for the Foundation that its Ludhiana Chapter has successfully performed life-changing surgeries for 300 patients, granting them the gift of a healthy and disease-free life.
He added he has been told that the Foundation’s Bengaluru Chapter has successfully performed surgeries for 15,000 patients, which is really a big achievement. He pointed out that saving a life matters a lot because saving one’s life means saving a whole family.
Further, Arora congratulated Balbir Arora Founder and President Have a Heart Foundation Ludhiana for achieving a milestone in giving new lease of life to patients. He said this is a real service to the humanity.
He hoped that the Foundation’s Ludhiana Chapter under the presidentship of Balbir Arora will continue serving the suffering humanity. He also lauded the donors who made this success possible. He said more such NGOs should come forward to render their services for the noble cause.
In his address, Manohar D Chatlani, Have A Heart Foundation, Bengaluru said they believe in a world where caste, creed, or religion should never stand in the way of a person's well-being. That is why we extend our services unconditionally, he said, adding that Have a Heart Foundation shoulders the entire financial burden of life-saving procedures.
He added their commitment is not just an endeavour but a testament to their desire to contribute to society in a meaningful way. He requested people to support and cooperate in this noble cause.
Further, Chatlani while narrating some of behind the curtain stories of those treated successful stated that the Foundation is a non-profit organization driven by the commitment to bring hope and healing to children and families in dire need. He added their primary focus is on sponsoring heart surgeries for those who are financially disadvantaged, with a particular emphasis on children.
Surabhi Malik, Deputy Commissioner, Ludhiana, also highly lauded the selfless services bring rendered by the Foundation. Bipin Gupta, Secretary, DMCH Managing Society, Ludhiana and doctors, including Dr Bishav Mohan, Dr William Bhatti, Director, CMCH, Ludhiana and Dr Sandeep Puri, Principal, DMCH, Ludhiana, and many donors making donations to the Foundation including Hemant Sood (Findoc Investment Pvt Ltd) and Ritesh Arora (RPIL) were honoured on the occasion.
