Blood donation camp organized by Rotary Club Sirhind and District Legal Services Authority Fatehgarh Sahib

Sirhind, July 14, 2024: A highly successful Blood Donation Camp was held today at Rotary Bhawan, Sirhind, jointly organized by the Rotary Club Sirhind and the District Legal Services Authority Fatehgarh Sahib. The Project Chairman for this blood donation activity, Anil Sood and Rajesh Chopra, worked tirelessly to ensure the success of the camp.
The event saw an overwhelming response from the community, with 121 units of blood being donated by enthusiastic participants under the leadership of Dr Hitender Suri.
Dr. Hitender Suri, the President of the Rotary Club, Vineet Sharma the Secretary of Rotary Club and Sunil Bector the treasurer of Rotary Club expressed their heartfelt gratitude to all the blood donors for their invaluable contributions. They emphasized the importance of such initiatives in saving lives and fostering a sense of community.
The Chief Guest for the event was Arun Gupta, District and Session Judge of Fatehgarh Sahib, commended the Rotary Club members for their dedicated efforts and congratulated them on the successful organization of the camp.
He highlighted the significance of blood donation and encouraged the community to continue supporting such noble causes.Arun Gupta himself donated the blood at the camp. On Behalf of District Legal Authority Fatehgarh Sahib Judicial Officer Mr. Ajay and Ms. Deepti was present.
The event was graced by the presence of notable rotarians including Rakesh Mitter, Anil Sood, Gopal Bimbraw, Davinder Verma, Dinesh Verma, Vivek Verma, Ashwani Singhi, Adv. Sanjeev Chopra, Pardeep Malhotra, Satpal Garg, Raveen Bimbraw, Mahesh Puri and several other esteemed members of the community.
Their presence and support added to the success of the camp. Dr Sandeep Chauhan, District Governor 2024-25, Dr Jasmohan Singh and Assistant Governor Rajvir Grewal too graced the occasion with their presence.
