In a first, PGI graduates to wear Kurta Pajamas and Saarees at the 38th annual convocation

On October 6th, 107 outstanding graduates will be honored with medals for their exceptional achievements, while 1547 students from various medical fields will proudly receive their degrees, marking the culmination of their rigorous academic journey.
In an exciting first for the institute, ethnic wear will debut as the official dress code for this year’s convocation.The males will wear off white colored kurta pajamas with 'saafas' whereas the females will wear off white/cream colored saarees at the convocation.
Approved by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, this cultural touch will see faculty and students don traditional attire with a special PGIMER stole, marking a proud fusion of heritage and academic achievement.
