Laljit Bhullar opens relief camp at Bhaowal village in Patti constituency
Diesel for embankment soil-filling tractors; groceries, fodder, feed, medicines and langar to reach needy within 30–35 km

Patti, September 4, 2025:
Cabinet Minister Laljit Singh Bhullar opened a temporary relief camp at Bhaowal village in his Patti Assembly constituency to coordinate distribution of relief material to affected residents within a 30–35 km radius. He said diesel will be provided from the camp to tractors engaged in soil filling on embankments, while groceries, animal fodder and feed will be supplied to nearby villages as required.
Bhullar added that medicines are being arranged through the camp and langar will be organized in surrounding areas to ensure continuous food support. The camp will operate round the clock for local residents and farmers, with teams formed to work in eight-hour shifts to maintain uninterrupted service.
Expressing gratitude to MLA Kuljit Singh Randhawa for support, Bhullar said a truckload of ration, two trucks of animal fodder, one truck of groceries including flour, pulses, oil and rice, and one truck of animal feed have reached the camp. He thanked youth, party workers, panches-sarpanches and donors for mobilizing timely assistance.
Underscoring the need to safeguard farmers who feed the world, Bhullar said the relief camp will continue 24x7 service while embankment strengthening from Harike to Gharum, from Gharum to Muthewal, and in low-lying settlements proceeds without interruption.
