Chandigarh, September 6, 2025: Shiromani Akali Dal President Sukhbir Singh Badal has donated Rs. 20 Lakh in cash and 60 thousand litres of diesel to flood victims of Punjab in two days. He is on spree to donate cash, diesel and other equipment to help flood victims.

? Day 1 – Thursday (Patiala & Sangrur Districts, Ropar)

Makror Sahib (Lehra, Sangrur): ₹1 lakh + 2,000 litres diesel

Moonak (Sangrur): ₹2 lakh + 2,000 litres diesel

Patiala & Sangrur (overall): ₹3 lakh + 9,000 litres diesel distributed to local committees

Chamkaur Sahib (Ropar): Reached dhussi bundh on tractor; at Sarangpur Fasse announced ₹2 lakh; at Daudarpur ₹2 lakh + 1,000 litres diesel + promise of 5,000 more litres soon; also assured 500 Akali workers to strengthen bundh.
? Day 2 – Friday (Patiala District)

Shutrana, Lehra & Moonak constituencies (Ghaggar belt): ₹10 lakh + over 20,000 litres diesel distributed to flood-affected villages.

Stated that diesel & cash are urgent needs for tractors, boats, and reinforcement materials, while langar/ration is being managed by gurdwaras and communities.
