AAP Gen. Secretary Bali visits flood-hit Ferozepur village, hands over boats from Salman Khan’s NGO
Ferozepur, September 6, 2025: Aam Aadmi Party General Secretary and Punjab Tourism Chairman Deepak Bali on Saturday visited flood-affected village Gatti Rajo Ke in Ferozepur to review the situation and interact with residents. Handing over two boats provided by Salman Khan’s NGO Being Human. He assured villagers of full support during and after floods, including ration, cattle feed, and long-term rehabilitation.
During the visit, Bali said that the floods were a natural calamity that required collective efforts to overcome. He assured the villagers that the government, along with local residents and social organizations, was extending full support in relief operations.
Bali also announced that in coordination with actor Salman Khan’s NGO Being Human, two boats had been handed over to the village to aid in rescue and relief work. He further added that after the water recedes, several villages would be adopted for long-term rehabilitation and assistance.
Apart from distributing ration, drinking water, and cattle feed to the villagers, Bali assured that continuous support would be provided until normal life was fully restored. Village Sarpanch Prakash Singh apprised him of the ground situation, to which Bali pledged every possible help.
On this occasion, the AAP leader also reviewed ongoing relief activities and medical camps. Assistant Commissioner Simranjit Singh PCS, RTO Amandeep PCS, District Language Officer Dr. Jagdish Sandhu, along with other officials and villagers, were present.
