Vinesh Phogat Foundation extends helping hand to Punjab flood victims

Chandigarh, September 7, 2025: Amid the devastating flood situation in Punjab, renowned wrestler Vinesh Phogat has stepped forward to support affected families through her foundation. Teams from the Vinesh Phogat Foundation visited several flood-hit villages and distributed essential relief material to those in need.
The foundation provided food, drinking water, medicines, and other necessities to residents in submerged areas. The relief teams not only delivered supplies but also listened to the concerns of villagers and assured them of continued support in this difficult time.
Vinesh Phogat urged people from all walks of life to come forward and contribute towards helping the flood-hit families. She said, “Just as the people of Haryana and Punjab have always stood together in unity and brotherhood, it is time we extend the same spirit of solidarity to those in distress.”
