SGPC dispatches spray machines to protect people in flood-affected areas from diseases

Amritsar (Punjab), September 8, 2025: Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee sent 10 spray machines to different areas today to protect people from diseases in the flood-affected areas.
Speaking in this regard, Chief Secretary S. Kulwant Singh Mannan said that as per the instructions of Shiromani Committee President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami, while relief work is going on continuously in the flood-affected areas, in view of the fear of spread of diseases in the villages affected by the floods, the Shiromani Committee will spray medicine through spray machines.
He said that for this purpose, on the instructions of the Honorable President, 10 spray machines have been sent from the Shiromani Committee office today to the flood-affected areas and more machines will also be sent in the coming days. These machines will be used to reach every village and spray medicine so that mosquitoes and other poisonous insects can be protected.
Chief Secretary S. Kulwant Singh Manan said that these spray machines have been serviced by the Sangats of Jalandhar, including S. Satpal Singh Multani Richie Travel, S. Amarbir Singh Monty, S. Gurdeep Singh Ravi, S. Inderpreet Singh Kalra and Bibi Barinder Kaur Hothi.
He said that while the Shiromani Committee is doing great services for the flood affected areas, the Sangat is also providing great support. He also thanked the Sangats who cooperated in the services in the relief work.
On this occasion, apart from the Chief Secretary of the Shiromani Committee, S. Kulwant Singh Mannan, members Bhai Rajinder Singh Mehta, S. Ranjit Singh Kahlon, OSD S. Satbir Singh, Secretary S. Pratap Singh, Additional Secretary S. Preetpal Singh, General Manager S. Bhagwant Singh Dhangera, Deputy Secretary S. Kuldeep Singh Rode, S. Harbhajan Singh Wakta, Superintendent S. Nishan Singh, S. Talwinder Singh Buttar, S. Gurjit Singh Nila Naroa, S. Jagdeep Singh Birdi, S. Ranjit Singh Jalandhar and others were present.
