- IPS Suicide case: Family of the deceased opposes shifting of body to PGI

  Chandigarh, October 11, 2025: Amit Ratan AAP leader and brother of Amneet P Kumar wife of deceased IPS officer Y Puran Kumar who committed suicide, has opposed shifting of body from Government Hospital Sector 16 to PGI Chandigarh.
  
  Talking to media, Amit Ratan said that family’s consent was not taken before shifting of body. He said that family was being coerced to agree to post-mortem. He said that family will not tolerate any forceful decision.
