Nayab Saini in Tarn Taran: Outreach, obeisance, and a call to vote BJP

Tarn Taran, November 7, 2025: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Friday paid obeisance at Gurdwara Bir Baba Budha Sahib in Tarn Taran, praying for the prosperity, well‑being and peace of the nation and the region, before appealing to voters to support BJP candidate Harjit Singh Sandhu in the November 11 by‑election.
Expressing gratitude for the warm welcome by Punjab BJP leaders and local residents, Saini said every vote would strengthen a “new direction and new thinking” for Punjab. “I humbly appeal to Tarn Taran’s esteemed residents to cast each precious vote in favour of Sardar Harjit Singh Sandhu and help lay the foundation of a secure and prosperous Punjab,” he said.
Underscoring Punjab–Haryana bonds, Saini said both states are united by shared heritage, culture and “family” ties. He assured residents of Punjab and Haryana that their concerns would be addressed with priority, adding they are welcome to meet him “anytime,” and referred to Punjabis as family on the sacred “land of the Gurus.”
Saini later met local residents along with Punjab BJP president Sunil Jakhar, reiterating his call for a strong turnout in support of the BJP nominee. “On November 11, when my family members in Tarn Taran step out to vote, I urge you to support Sardar Harjit Singh Sandhu and be partners in building a safer and more prosperous future for Punjab,” he said.
He also visited the residence of BJP OBC Morcha vice-president Tarun Jassi in Amritsar for a courtesy meeting, party functionaries said. He later chaired an organisational meeting with Punjab BJP president Sunil Jakhar and senior leaders to review party affairs and coordination in the state.
