  Chandigarh, December 25, 2025: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has approved a compensation of Rs. 10 lakh each for family of teacher couple killed during election duty in the state. During Zila Parishad/Block Samiti elections Jaskaran Singh Bhullar (English teacher) and his wife Kamaljit Kaur (DPE) were killed when their car met with an accident. Now compensation of Rs. 20 lakh is being given to family.
