Railways mark Veer Baal Divas with banners displayed at key rail hubs
Ferozepur, December 25, 2025: In a bid to spotlight the significance of Veer Baal Diwas, major railway stations in the Ferozepur division have put up special stands and banners.
Following directives from the Railway Board, a comprehensive awareness campaign is underway to spread the importance of Veer Baal Diwas (December 26) to every corner of society. Key stations across the division now feature displays honoring the day.
Veer Baal Diwas is observed annually on December 26 to commemorate the sacrifice of Sahibzada Baba Zorawar Singh Ji and Baba Fateh Singh Ji, the young sons of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji. The day inspires youth with their unparalleled courage, sacrifice, and values of nation-building.
Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Paramdeep Singh Saini stated that Veer Baal Diwas symbolizes India's glorious history and national identity. Through stands, banners, TV screens at stations, and public announcement systems, the saga of these brave young martyrs is being linked to national consciousness, encouraging the country's youth to draw inspiration from their ideals.
