The increasing cases of violence and abuse against children have become an urgent issue, necessitating immediate and effective action to safeguard their safety and well-being.
Amid this challenging scenario, a beacon of hope shines from the golden sands of Malwa, where Anamika Sandhu, a passionate and committed Human Resource Development Manager, has stepped forward to confront this critical problem.
As the founder of Ek Soch, Anamika is relentlessly working to combat these issues through initiatives focused on education and raising awareness. Her dedication and sense of responsibility serve as an inspiring example of how individuals can make a meaningful difference in creating a safer environment for children.
Workshops organized by “Ek Soch” cover a wide range of topics, including child protection laws, mental health awareness, and strategies for preventing abuse.
Anamika said that our organization has held a variety of seminars in senior secondary schools since 2016, focusing on the age range of 3 to 18, which is especially susceptible to such incidents. She emphasizes the importance of early education, advocating for teaching body safety from a young age to prevent abuse.
Anamika highlights the importance of a united effort to address the ongoing crisis, stressing the need for collaboration among government bodies, law enforcement, educational institutions, and community organizations. She underscores that stronger legislation, rigorous enforcement, and widespread awareness campaigns are essential measures to create a safer and more secure society.
Anamika’s dedication to her cause has inspired many to join hands in creating safer spaces for children. Her work underscores the idea that change begins with awareness and collaboration. By addressing issues at the grassroots level and involving all segments of society, “Ek Soch” is paving the way for a brighter and more secure future for young minds.
