Chandigarh, March 6, 2026: Bringing pride to Tricity region, Akansh Dhull has secured All India Rank 3 in the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2025, the results of which were declared on Friday.
Akansh completed his school education from two different schools in Chandigarh before moving to New Delhi for higher studies. He later pursued B.Com (Honours) from the prestigious Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC).
Originally born in Rohtak, Akansh’s family later shifted to Panchkula, where they have been living for several years. However, his schooling in Chandigarh played a key role in shaping his academic journey.
Akansh has been preparing for the UPSC examination since 2021. In his earlier attempt in the Civil Services Examination 2023, he had secured All India Rank 342, but continued his preparation with determination.
Despite receiving promising campus placement opportunities while studying at SRCC, Akansh chose to pursue his long-standing ambition of joining the civil services. According to him, becoming an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer had been his childhood dream, and he worked tirelessly to turn that dream into reality.
