UGC declares Alwar based University as Fake

New Delhi, March 29, 2026: UGC has declared Rajeev Gandhi Institute of Technology & Management, Alwar (Rajasthan) as a fake institution.
In a release, it said that the institute is not recognised and is not authorised to award any UG/PG degrees. Any degree issued by it is not valid for higher education or government employment.
It urged Students, parents, and the public not to take admission in such self-styled institutions.
