Haryana CM Saini launches Rs 113 crore projects in Gohana, announces major development push

Gohana (Sonipat), March 29, 2026: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Sunday inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for 16 development projects worth ₹113 crore during a public rally in Gohana, aimed at accelerating infrastructure growth in the region.
Addressing the “Thanksgiving and Development Rally,” the Chief Minister said the initiatives mark a strong push towards transforming the Gohana Assembly constituency with improved civic amenities and modern infrastructure.
Key projects announced include the construction of a sports stadium, development of a jogging track at Bhagwan Parshuram Heritage Park from Sonipat Chungi to Panipat Chungi, a multi-storey parking facility, expansion of municipal limits, and establishment of Shiv Dham on Sonipat Road. Plans for a 33 KV substation, a tourism resort, and a Transport Nagar under HSVP were also unveiled.
In addition, the government will allocate plots for social organisations, reconstruct buildings such as the irrigation office, Shakti Bhawan and rest house, and set up a Cardiac Cath Lab at Bhagat Phool Singh Government Medical College. Development works in schools, drinking water supply, sewerage systems, and road construction and repair will also be undertaken.
The Chief Minister further announced an additional ₹5 crore for the development of villages in the Gohana constituency.
He said the government remains committed to ensuring balanced and inclusive development across Haryana, with a focus on strengthening infrastructure and public services.
