SGPC Chief Dhami inaugurates upgraded Gurdwara Printing Press in Amritsar

Amritsar (Punjab), April 20, 2026: Harjinder Singh Dhami, President of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC), on Monday inaugurated the renovated Gurdwara Printing Press in Amritsar in the presence of religious and community leaders.
The ceremony began with the recitation of Sukhmani Sahib, followed by Gurbani Kirtan performed by the Hazuri Raagi Jatha, creating a devotional atmosphere.
Addressing the gathering, Dhami said the printing press plays a crucial role in producing official stationery for Gurdwaras managed by the SGPC. He added that, in line with modern requirements, advanced printing machines have been installed to enhance efficiency and quality.
The SGPC chief informed that the renovation work was carried out by Baba Satnam Singh, who was also honoured on the occasion for his contribution.
Several SGPC members, officials, and staff were present at the event, including Gurmeet Singh Booh, Ajaib Singh Abhayasi, and other administrative representatives associated with Gurdwara management and printing operations.
The upgraded facility is expected to strengthen the SGPC’s printing infrastructure and support its religious and administrative functions more effectively.
