Gatka Federation UK to host 11th UK National Gatka Championship; Details Inside

UK, August 13, 2025– The Gatka Federation UK, affiliated with the World Gatka Federation, will host the 11th UK National Gatka Championship on Sunday, 14th September 2025, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Swansea Bay Sports Park, Athletics and Hockey Centre, Cwm Farm Lane, Swansea SA2 9AU.
The event is being organized with the support of the local Gurdwara Sahib management and Sangat, aiming to promote the traditional Sikh martial art of Gatka and encourage participation among the youth.
Registration for Gatkabaz (players) and Akharas will start at 9:00 AM, with the championship commencing at 10:00 AM.
This is a free family event open to all, with Langar (community kitchen) and refreshments served throughout the day.The championship is expected to see enthusiastic participation from Gatka teams and individual martial artists, showcasing skills, discipline, and cultural heritage.
