West Midlands (UK), October 2025: In a heartfelt gesture of solidarity, BJS Home Delivery, a UK-based home delivery company led by Managing Director Harinder Singh, has donated £25,000 to aid victims of the recent devastating floods in Punjab, India.
The contribution, announced as part of a joint community initiative, was presented by BJS Chairman Tarsem Singh to the Kalgidhar Trust (Akaal Academy)—an organization actively involved in rebuilding homes and restoring livelihoods across flood-hit regions.
“Thank you to our customers who donated via BJS towards helping victims of the Punjab floods,” the company said in a statement. “It is both heartwarming and inspiring to see the Chardikala spirit in Punjab, where communities are rising together to rebuild after such devastation.”
The company highlighted that every customer who received a delivery from BJS in recent weeks directly contributed to this relief effort.
Acknowledging the ongoing work of Lakhwinder Singh and the Akaal Academy team, BJS praised the collaborative approach being taken by multiple organizations to provide low-cost housing and essential support to those affected.
“With compassion and unity, we hope to help rebuild lives and bring relief to those suffering,” Harinder Singh said. “This effort reflects the shared humanity that connects us all, no matter where we are.”
