Baba Sheikh Farid Festival: Zazba Arts-Natrang-Kranti Kala Mach present stage plays ‘Kujh Te Kro Yaro-Intezar-Apna Hissa’
Faridkot, September 21, 2019: Ahead of Baba Sheikh Farid Festival, on the last day of two-days’ National Punjab Natak Mela, various theatre outfits – Zazba Arts Fazilka, Natrang Abohar and Kranti Kala Manch Moga – presented the stage plays ‘Kujh Te Kro Yaro’, ‘Intezar’ and ‘Apna Hissa’ leaving mesmerizing impact on the audience. The programme was attended by Sandeep Singh Sanny, OSD to Chief Minister Punjab.
Appreciating the enthusiasm of the large number of devotees, Kumar Sourabh, Deputy Commissioner, Faridkot said, all should attend in good numbers the festival celebrations in the coming days.
In the successful presentation of play, “Kujh Te Kro Yaro” written by Pali Bhupinder and Director, Rakesh Kamboj under the banner of Zazba Arts, has given a message of lacking of moral values along with broken relations and respect to elders.
Similarly, the play Intezar written by Amandeep Mohni and Director Bhupinder Utreja in its successful presentation is a story of modern day self-interest who encash the death but has given a clear message to work shunning the menace of greediness and share equally with all.
In the third such play ‘Apna Hissa’ by Gurcharan Singh and directed by Kuljit Khosa has strong satires on ignoring of the old persons, selling of land for personal needs and living a life of diversion.
The religious and folk songs were also presented by Sehanpreet Singh and Sumandeep Kaur, Sukhwinder Narang. The master-of-ceremony was performed nicely by Jasbir Jassi.
