Fatehgarh Sahib, January 30, 2017: District & Sessions Judge cum Chairman, District Legal Services Authority Sanjiv Berry, while addressing the media persons here today said that all the arrangements for the National Lok Adalat to be held on 11th Feburary at Fatehgarh Sahib district court complex have been completed.
He said that nine benches will be set up during the National Loak Adalat to take up the cases and out of these seven will be set up at Fatehgarh Sahib Court complex and two at Amloh court complex. He said each bench will consist of a Judge, lawyer and social worker and all the pending and pre-litigative cases will be taken up for disposal amicably.
Prashant Verma Chief Judicial Magistrate cum Secy. Legal Services Authority said that National Lok Adalat will be held under the aegis of National Legal Services Authority and Punjab Legal Services Authority and efforts will be made to settle all pending cases of every court in India by way of compromise and other mode of alternative disputes resolution mechanism such as mediation, conciliation and arbitration etc. He called upon the public to take benefit of this Loak Adalat.
