Ferozepur, September 22, 2017: An incident of cheating by the Shiromani Akali Dal – SAD leader for Rs.55 lac in a land deal has been highlighted by the Universal Human Rights Organization and Unique Human Rights and Care Organization.
Disclosing this in the press conference in the Press Club, Ferozepur, Satnam Singh Dhaliwal, President, Manjit Singh Nagla, Vice President and Sukhwinder Singh Talwandi Bhai said, it was a matter of surprise for them when they came to know that four persons in connivance with Kulwinder Singh, SAD leader – Chairman CASS – who also had an influence during he SAD-BJP government - cheated with two brothers Balwinder Singh and Sukhwinder Singh in a land deal for Rs.55 lac.
Both these brother informed that they had family relations with Kulwinder Singh and Balbir Singh of village Sodhi Wala.
Stating their tale, the victim family said, sometime back, they had sold 9 acres of land when Kulwinder Singh ex-Chairman had proposed to get them land in lieu of this and showed us 10 acres and 17 marlas land of Simapal Singh and Daler Singh of Haryana at village Sodhi Wala to which the consent was given by both the brothers.
After the formal registration of land, Rs.55 lac was given to Kulwinder Singh to further given to Simranpal Singh and land was transferred with witness of Hari Singh son Tehal Singh of village Male Ke.
They further informed that after sometime, they come to know from some villagers that they have been cheated and Kulwinder Singh, Balbir Singh and Hari Singh in connivance with the original owners of the land, had transferred the land in some other’s name.
When they demanded back the money, neither the money was returned nor the land possession was with them.
Levelling charges on the Tehsildar, the Satnam Singh Dhaliwal, President, Universal Human Rights Organisation said, the Tehsildar well before the registration was informed about the stay on the land for further sale but he transferred the land instead of holding it, by getting an affidavit of vacation of stay.
The aggrieved party has however approached the police and an inquiry has been marked to DSP besides registration of a case.
The victim family has demanded that a strict action against the alleged accused be taken and the money given for registration of land be got arranged back to them.
