Patiala, July 16, 2018: The Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) has for the second time consecutively collected more than Rs.100 crores through Digital/RTGS modes on July 16, 2018 informed Baldev Singh Sra, CMD PSPCL.
He said that this could only be possible due to full support of Chief Minister Punjab, Captain Amarinder Singh.
This seems to be the highest digital collection on consecutive days by any power utility pan India, he added.
The CMD was confident that the PSPCL would collect more amount through Digital/RTGS modes in future too with the support and encouragement of Power Minister, Gurpreet Singh Kangar.
Jatinder Goyal, Director Finance, said that the figure is still counting and PSPCL may come up with a very big unbeatable score by Tuesday morning..
The PSPCL will surely reach the ambitious target set by A Venu Prasad IAS , Principal Secretary, Power, of becoming the number one power utility in digital collection's category," he added.
