Ex-BJP MP GP Mishra quits party
Sidhi, MP, Apr 11 :: Erstwhile Bharatiya Janata Party parliamentarian Govind Prasad Mishra, who represented Sidhi in the 15th Lok Sabha, tendered his resignation on Wednesday from the BJP’s primary membership “as the party has commenced taking decisions while turning Nelson’s eye to thoughts and opinions” of both workers and the populace.
“I am simultaneously renouncing politics. Rising above party polity, I shall strengthen the hand of an eligible person,” he averred during an interaction with the press here.
The saffron camp fielded serving parliamentarian Riti Pathak again from this constituency but she is facing a veritable maelstrom of protest from BJP leaders and workers alike.(Agency)
