PCMSA hails Punjab Govt decision to discontinue extension in retirement age
Moga, February 28, 2020: Punjab Civil Medical Service Association - PCMSA -a body of Punjab Govt doctors - hailed the decision to discontinue the extension in service beyond 58.
The association President Dr Gagandeep Singh and General Secretary Dr Manohar Singh praising the announcement said that it was a long-standing demand of the association which will open the avenues for the new doctors in the state to join service, waiting for their turn.
Thanking the government decision, Dr Manohar Singh said that immediate measures be taken to fill the top posts becoming vacant after the decision. Dr Ranjit Singh, vice president of the association hailing the decision said that it will help in promotion s in already stagnation in the cadres of the various services of employees.
Dr Indervir Gill Organising Secretary, PCMSA Kharar, stated that govt should announce the full pending dearness allowance from the time it was due.
