Amritsar, March 31, 2020: Twenty-nine persons who were working in Rajasthan and were on their way back to Amritsar were intercepted by the district administration on the outskirts of the city at around 2.30 am today.
Confirming this, civil surgeon Dr. Prabhdeep Kaur Johal said that a health team reached the spot and thoroughly examined them. She said that the persons travelled from Rajasthan and entered Punjab at Fazilka.
Kaur said after completion of medical examination, their past movements were noted and they will now undergo the mandatory home quarantine for 14 days. They have also been received a quarantine stamp.
