Fatehgarh Sahib. April 01, 2020: The district health department have identified and traced two persons, who attended Hazrat Nizamuddin event at Delhi and they had already completed 14 days home quarantined but in view the sensitivity of the situation they have been further home quarantined for 10 days.
Dr. N.K.Aggarwal Civil Surgeon said that two persons Mehar Mohammad and Yasin Mohammad both residents of Mandi Gobindgarh town in the district attended the function at Delhi were traced by RRTs of health department. They boarded the train from Ludhiana in the morning on 15th March and returned back on 17th March by boarding train Chhattisgarh Express from Delhi on 16th March at night. He said though they are in good physical condition and 14 days have passed since return, but still they have been home quarantined till 7th April. He said that they will be under constant surveillance of the health department during this period.
He said besides this all 59 pilgrims who returned from Hazur Sahib have been home quarantined.
Meanwhile Dr. N.K.Aggarwal Civil Surgeon all the 719 NRIs who came to the district have been identified and traced. He said that the limit of 14 days home quarantine of 565 NRIs have been crossed, whereas 154 NRIs are still home quarantine, whereas 329 have been pasted with stickers. He said that 15 suspected patients for COVID were tested and all of them were found negative. He said there is no COVID patient in the district.
