DLSA established Legal Aid Clinic in Faridkot
Faridkot, August 14,2019: A Legal Aid Clinic, under the tutelage of Punjab State Legal Service Authority, Mohali and District and Sessions Judge Faridkot was set up in Widow Cell Civil Hospital, Faridkot.
Smt.Rajwant Kaur, CJM-cum-Secreary DLSA Faridkot divulging with the details said, one panel advocate and one para legal volunteer has been deployed at the Legal Aid Clinic –LAC, with an aim to provide free legal services.
She said, the problems being faced by the people are solved with regard to various schemes of the Punjab government relating to NREGA, Aadhar Card, Ration Card, Voter Card or any other issue related to the schemes so that a common man could be benefitted from these welfare schemes.
In these LACs, small issues including family disputes are tried to be solved, she added.
