Mann Punjabi Literary Awards, Surrey, B.C. Canada invites entries
Surrey, Canada, January 19, 2017: (Jarnail Singh) Mann Punjabi Literary Awards, Surrey, B.C. Canada has invited entries for story and poetry competition for Sr. Bhag Singh Mann and Biji Surjit Kaur Mann Memorial Awards. Top three entries in each category will get $1000 , $500 and $250 as prizes.
All Canadian residents of any Province are welcome to participate in this competition sponsored by Surinder Pal Kaur Brar, Parkash Kaur Brar, Tejinder S. Mann and Dave Mann of Mann Punjabi Literary Awards, Surrey, B.C. Canada The participants can send their entries at Mannpunjabiliteraryawards@gmail.com. The last date of receiving the entries is March 31, 2017.
According to the sponsors, stories and poems should be in Punjabi Language and can be submitted by post or in pdf file by email at the address given above. Every writer can send only one story or poem, and can participate in both. Every participant should also attach a separate sheet providing the full name, address, email address and phone number.
Besides being the original work of the participants, a poem should not exceed maximum limit of 2000 words and short story 6000 words. Only typed material will be accepted. All Canadian residents of any Province are welcome to participate in this competition. The decision of the judges will be final.
