New Delhi, February 15,2019: Following the Pulwama terror attack, India on Friday withdrew the 'most-favoured nation' status to Pakistan that was given 23 years ago.
The move would now enable India to increase customs duty on goods coming from the neighbouring country.
Finance Minister Arun Jaitley declared in a media briefing that the most-favoured nation (MFN) status to Pakistan stands revoked.
India granted the MFN status to Pakistan way back in 1996, but the neighbouring country has not yet reciprocated.
