Mumbai, February 17,2019: Another case of firms suspending employees for anti-national posts on social media after Pulwama terror attack has come forth. This time it is pharmaceutical giant Zydus Cadila and another firm Macleods Pharma who have suspended Kashmiri employees for posting insensitive and anti-national messages on social media regarding the Pulwama Terror Attack.
The posts praising Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) organisation were taken into consideration that were posted by the employees reportedly. Show cause notices have been issued to the employees to explain the reason for such posts.The notice said that if they fail to explain their position to do not show up within the stipulated time, their services will be terminated.
It was JeM that took the responsibility of the terror attack that claimed the lives of more than 40 CRPF jawans.
Earlier in a similar action, NDTV had suspended its deputy news editor for insensitive facebook post. Also an Aligarh Muslim University student was suspended for objectionable tweet praising JeM.
