NRI’s murder: Australian High Commission, Delhi officials visit Ferozepur
Ferozepur , April 03, 2019 : Two member team of Australian High Commission in India on Tuesday visited Ferozepur to get updates on the murder of Australian citizen Mrs. Ravneet Kaur. The team met the SSP Ferozepur , got the basic information of the case and shared the concern of the Australian Government over the murder of an Australian citizen.
SSP Sandip Goel told Babushahi.com that the team consisting of Murray Taylor, Detective Superintendent Counsellor (Police Liaison) and Sanjay Maini, Legal Adviser of the Australian High Commission, Delhi, for India, Nepal and Bhutan offered help in the police investigation of the case. The team returned back to Delhi on the same day. Mr Goel said that the murder case was still under investigation. He further said the police would adopt the next course of action after the completion of the reinvestigations because two of the accused in the case were living in Australia.
Ravneet Kaur who had gone missing under mysterious circumstances on March 14, from Bagge Ke Pippal village was found dead in Bhakhra canal.
The police cracked the gruesome murder of NRI woman and arrested four persons including Taranjeit, Sandeep, Gursewak Singh and Pushpinder Singh in connection with murder conspiracy.
