Impact innovation study by CGC professor wins award

Chandigarh, November 30, 2023: An impact innovation study by Prof. (Dr.) Kapil Mehta, from Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC) Landran, has won an award at the ‘New Code of Education Summit 2023’, hosted at IIT Delhi. Prof. Mehta’s impact study was selected from among a 100 others shortlisted.
It was one of the only eight to have been conferred with the honour. He also shared his views as a panellist in a panel discussion on the topic ‘Impact of NEP in building the next generation of Higher Education Institutions,’ held at the event.
His impact innovation study titled – ‘Novel digital practice for innovating the future of education’, was aimed at highlighting the purpose of remote learning and how it could be an effective alternative to providing wide-ranging and enhanced opportunities for imparting education especially, higher education.
Prof. Mehta received the award from Dr. Anil Sahasrabudhe, Chairman, National Education Technology Forum, and Former Chairman of AICTE; Dr. R.S. Sharma, Ex-CEO, National Heath Authority, Ex-Chairman, TRAI, & Former Mission Director of UIDAI; and Nirmal Singh, Founder and CEO, Wheebox.
Satnam Singh Sandhu, Chairman, CGC Landran and Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, President, CGC Landran congratulated Prof. Mehta on this achievement and lauded him for making the entire CGC family proud.
This event was organised by Wheebox in partnership with Google and aimed to recognize the remarkable achievements of Higher Education professionals in India engaged in driving the best digital practices for the future of education.
