Australian women cricketers harassed by bikers in Indore; Security lapse reported

Indore, October 25, 2025: A serious security lapse was reported involving members of the Australian women’s cricket team in Indore. Two Australian women cricketers were allegedly harassed by bikers near the Radisson Blu Hotel.
According to reports, the players were walking from the Radisson Blu Hotel towards a nearby café when two young men on a bike allegedly harassed them. The cricketers immediately sent an SOS notification, prompting security personnel to rush to the scene.
Following a complaint by security officer Denny Simons, the Indore MIG police registered an FIR and arrested one of the accused, identified as Akil. The players, who are part of the Australian squad participating in the ICC Women’s World Cup, were staying at the Radisson Blu Hotel along with the rest of their team.
