Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker felicitates UPSC toppers at Chandigarh event

Chandigarh, May 4, 2025: Speaker of Punjab Vidhan Sabha, Kultar Singh Sandhwan, felicitated the UPSC Civil Services Examination toppers of 2024 at a ceremony held in Chandigarh on Saturday evening.
The event was organized at Raj Malhotra’s IAS institute at Sector 25 here and witnessed a vibrant gathering of students who came together to celebrate the achievements of the successful candidates.
AAP MLA Kulwant Singh Pandori was also present alongside the Speaker on this occasion.
During the event, the Speaker engaged in a heartfelt interaction with the students. Recalling his own school and college days, Sandhwan asked the aspirants about their study techniques and preparation journeys. He praised their discipline and commitment, stating, “These students are the future of Punjab, and it is heartening to see their determination to serve the country.”
He also lauded the efforts of the coaching institute in guiding and mentoring civil service aspirants. The event concluded with an interactive session, group photographs, and words of encouragement from the Speaker to the next generation of administrators.
