Chandigarh, April 12, 2026: Punjab Police have arrested two more accused in connection with the Chandigarh BJP office blast case. According to sources, both individuals were apprehended from Amritsar and are residents of the same village in Tarn Taran district.
The accused have been identified as Navdeep and Hardeep. Investigators allege that they were involved in procuring a grenade and facilitating the transfer of funds linked to the case.
Preliminary reports suggest that weapons were smuggled into Punjab via drones from across the border in Pakistan, with deliveries reportedly taking place in the first week of March. Police are now further investigating the network to trace the broader supply chain and identify other individuals involved.
Officials said the investigation is ongoing and more breakthroughs are expected in the case.
