Farmers moved to Delhi, KMSC also continued to protest in Punjab
Until the right atmosphere for dialogue by the government is created, talks will not make any sense: Jatala
Ferozepur, November 27, 2020: While thousands of farmers have moved to Delhi to register their protest in the State against the withdrawal of three controversial Farm Laws, the Kissan Mazdoor Sangarsh Committee members in the State continued their protests by burning the effigies of the Modi government.
Kissan Mazdoor Sangharsh Committee – KMSC, today burn the effigy of Modi government at Jhoke Tehal Singh wala and Mamdot in protest against non-withdrawal of three farm laws and condemned the lathi charge by the Haryana government, on the farmers moving to Delhi, said Narinderpal singh Jatala President Mamdot Unit.
A group of hundreds of farmers under the banner of KMCS had also moved to Delhi from Hari Ke Pattan in tractor-trollies, said Sukhwinder Singh Sabrah, District Secretary.
He said, we are moving to Delhi by making all arrangements for food, ration, medicines and other required items for number of months and will come back only after withdrawal of black laws.
He appealed to the Modi government to renounce dictatorial practices and repeal the ordinance. He also condemned the attitude of the Khattar government of Haryana who was cracking down on the farmers and laborers at the behest of the Modi government.
The leader also appealed to his comrades to face the repression of the governments with patience and move forward peacefully.
He appealed to all the struggling organizations of the country, to reject the invitation for the December 3 meeting and a strong message should be given, in view the dictatorial attitude of the Modi government.
As long as the government does not create the right atmosphere for dialogue and does not stop its Ministers from making derogatory remarks against the agitators, the talks will not make sense, he added.
