Chandigarh reports 3 deaths and 398 new COVID cases
Chandigarh, April 10, 2021:
Chandigarh reported 398 new COVID-19 positive cases on Saturday. Three deaths due to COVID were also reported in the last 24 hours.
As per the information released by the health department, UT Chandigarh, the total number of active cases in Chandigarh stands at 3,265.
In the last 24 hours, the department has tested 3,115 samples. As per the figure, 396 deaths have been reported in Chandigarh due to COVID-19 to date.
Likewise, the total number of patients who have tested positive to date stands at 30,341.

COVID Death:-
- A 73 year old COVID positive Female R/o Sector 49, a case of Type-1 Respiratory Distress and Hypertension, expired at Grecian Super Speciality Hospital, Mohali.
- A 79 year old COVID positive Male R/o Sector 48, a case of Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome , expired at Shalby Multi Speciality Hospital, Mohali
- A 50 year old COVID positive Male R/o Sector 23, a case of Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome and Hypertension, expired at GMSH-16.

Discharged Patients:-
- A total of 343 patients have been discharged including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic, as per MoHFW guidelines.
