Infosys provides medical equipment costing over 1.5 crore to Punjab’s Health Department
Chandigarh, June 22, 2021:
Infosys Foundation handed over Medical Equipment of approximately Rs. 1.50 crore as aid from their side in the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Punjab to fight against COVID-19.
They met Principal Secretary Health and Family Welfare Hussan Lal and Tanu Kashyap MD- Punjab Health Systems Corporation in this regard. Infosys Foundation is setting up an Oxygen Plant at Sub Divisional Hospital Kharar and a generator set to run it, two Bipap machines, two Oxygen Constructors, one universal ventilator, 15 ICU monitors, 13 oxygen airflow meters, 100 digital thermometers and 100 pulse oxymeters to the department. The foundation offered more such support in future to the Department.
Hussan Lal appreciated the effort made by the Foundation. Dr. Vishal Garg, Assistant Director PHSC, Abhishek Goyal Vice President of Infosys and Dr. Sameer Goel Chandigarh Center Head Delivery Manager, Suresh Shanoe, Regional Head Facilities Mr. Puneet Randhawa, Lalit Singla and Kuldeep Saini were present.
