F.I.R. registered against AAP candidate from Sardulgarh for violating Model Code of Conduct

Sardulgarh/Mansa, February 12:The Returning Officer Sardulgarh cum SDM Manisha Rana today said that an F.I.R. No. 20 under sections 188, 171 (H) IPC has been registered at Police Station Jhunir against the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate from Sardulgarh for violating the Model Code of Conduct enforced in the wake of Vidhan Sabha elections on the directions of the Election Commission of India (ECI).
The Returning Officer said that as per the directions of the ECI, the roadshows have been banned during the assembly polls.
Recently, the Flying Squad Team (FST) stopped the volunteers of the AAP who were on the motorcycles in huge numbers doing roadshow at village Fatta Malkaa near Jhunir. The gathering was also joined in by the AAP candidate from Sardulgarh following which an F.I.R. was registered.
Divulging more, the Returning Officer said that the ECI has completely banned the roadshows regarding which the District Administration has already apprised the representatives of the political parties. In future also, if any candidate is found violating the code of conduct then strict action would be taken.
