“GREAT Alliance Foundation” only Start up from Punjab and Chandigarh among finalists selected for National Startup Awards 2022

‘GREAT Alliance Foundation’ is credited for being nominated as the only startup from Punjab and Chandigarh led by a woman entrepreneur to land among the 175 Finalists selected for the National Startup Awards 2022. GREAT Alliance Foundation is working in the Education Industry and Education Technology, with the primary objective of making India a global leader in technology. Dr. Inderpreet Kaur is one of the directors of this start-up is IEEE Impact Creator, and has over two decades of extensive experience in Research, Education, and Administration at Higher Education Institutes. She proudly holds the distinction of being a Woman Entrepreneur in the Field of Education. This start up is working on outreach and promotional activities to strengthen the Research Index of Institutions. Her Startup is shorted as a Finalist for the National Startup Awards 2022 organized by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, Govt. of India.
To enable educations institutions to become self-reliant, GREAT Alliance Foundation regularly organizes various activities, including consultancy projects, technical talks on the topics of current interest, educations programs on basic topics, awareness workshops on IPR, Cooperation in Education and Research, Technology Development, and on Strengthening International Relations for Institutes. The outreach activities conducted by GREAT Alliance Foundation positively impact over 500 faculty members and 5000 students. Moreover, GREAT Alliance Foundation has successfully conducted expert sessions on Accreditation, MOOC Design & Development, and Motivation and Research.
Dr. Inderpreet Kaur was earlier selected for the professional development training on “STEMCOM Powering Future Women Leaders 2021” conducted by the World Bank’s South Asia Gender and Energy Facility (SAGE) and and for Global Engineering Deans Council’s (GEDC) IUCEE/GEDC India Chapter in 2013-15. Currently, she works in a Lead Role for the Education Sector in Chandigarh with ASSOCHAM Chandigarh UT Development Council. Further, Dr. Inderpreet is the Reviewer and Attendee of over 100 International Conferences, especially IEEE, and Springer, including 40 National Conferences.
In addition, Dr. Inderpreet Kaur is a Board Member for numerous National and International Organizations, which includes IEEE (Senior Member), IEEE Prakash Bharati - Consortium IEEE Photonics Society Chapters India (National Secretary), EXECOM Chandigarh Subsection (Member), EXECOM - IEEE PES-IAS, Delhi Chapter (Member), International Advisory Panel for Malaysia Technical Scientist Association (Member), Indian Electrical and Electronics Manufacturers Association (IEEMA) (Member), IEEMA Chandigarh Chapter (Academic Nominee), International Association of Engineers (Life Member), The Optical Society of India (Member), etc.
