Jalandhar, April 1, 2023: Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat on Saturday said that BJP will get a good vote share in the upcoming Jalandhar Lok Sabha elections.
He was welcomed by State President Ashwani Sharma along with his office-bearers.
Union Minister Som Prakash, Member of Parliament Hans Raj Hans, National Executive. Member and ex-minister Manarana Kalia, state general secretary of BJP Jeevan Gupta, Rajesh Baga, Bikramjit Singh Cheema, state vice president Dr. Subhash Sharma, Fatehjung Singh Bajwa and former MLA Sarabjit Singh Makkar were also present during the ocassion.
Gajendra Singh Shekhawat said that the Gujarat High Court's verdict and imposition of a fine of Rs 25,000 is a slap on the face of the Aam Aadmi Party supremo and the corrupt and lying Chief Minister of Delhi.
He said that for the last year, gangsters, mafia, and separatist organizations have ruled Punjab and the Bhagwant Mann government has proved to be a complete failure in curbing all of them.
"The Punjab government is limited to spreading its false propaganda with the help of false statements and only advertisements. The cases of drug and gun culture are at the top in Punjab. Sportsmen and singers are being shot dead, and ransoms are being demanded. Shekhawat said that the incident of the miscreants cutting the leg of Gurdwara Sahib Granthi's Sukhchain Singh leg in the town of Khadur Sahib in Tarn Taran," said Gajendra Singh Shekhawat.
Expressing grief, he said that the Punjab government is watching the spectacle as a silent spectator. He said that the Aam Aadmi Party has fraudulently gained power in Punjab by making false promises to Punjabis and using the name of our great martyrs and has now started insulting our great martyrs, which the people of Punjab will not tolerate at any cost.
Shekhawat said that despite BJP having two seats in Punjab, the trend of people has increased towards BJP because BJP is fulfilling its responsibility well.
He said that BJP will vigorously participate in the Jalandhar Lok Sabha by-elections and local elections and also get a good vote percentage. He said that which face will be fielded in the Jalandhar seat, will be decided in the meeting of the parliamentary board.
Ashwini Sharma said on the occasion that the family of the Bharatiya Janata Party is continuously getting bigger and a large number of eminent personalities are continuously joining the BJP. He said that BJP will win again in Jalandhar Lok Sabha by-elections and local elections in Punjab. He said that peace, brotherhood, and prosperity of Punjab are the main agenda of the BJP. He said that BJP will live up to the expectations of Punjabis.
Former Punjab police official Rajinder Singh joined BJP on this occasion
Former Deputy Commissioner of Police Jalandhar Rajinder Singh, former President of Punjab University Student Council, and Punjab Haryana Bar Association Advocate Santokhwinder Singh Nabha was honored with President's Medal three times during a program held at BJP headquarters under the leadership of BJP State President Ashwini Sharma.
Shivam, Hardeep Singh Kumbhara, and Sanjay Kumar Sanju, who contested from Jalandhar as councilor D, joined the BJP family along with their supporters.
Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and State President Ashwani Sharma welcomed the new members joining the BJP family and honored all of them with party crowns and inducted them into the BJP family.
