Under Safe School Vehicle Policy, Ferozepur cops challan 11 school vehicles
Ferozepur, February 28, 2024: With schools failing to comply with the safety norms of the Safe School Vehicle Policy inside their buses, the district administration on Wednesday finally began to penalize the violators.
Under the orders of Punjab and Haryana High Court and Deputy Commissioner Rajesh Dhiman, District Child Protection Unit Ferozepur with the support of a team of task force members jointly conducted a surprise check of various school vehicles randomly at Ferozepur Cantonment, under the Safe School Vehicle Policy and issued challans for 11 school vehicles that did not meet the requirements of the Safe School Vehicle Policy.
