Amritsar (Punjab), May 4, 2025: In a significant statement, Sri Akal Takht Jathedar Kuldeep Singh Gargaj emphasized that all issues facing the Sikh community should be resolved through dialogue and guidance from Sri Akal Takht Sahib, rather than taking them to civil courts.
Speaking to the congregation and addressing the wider Sikh community via video, Gargaj asserted, "Every issue—whether personal, familial, or religious—can be addressed by sitting at the door of the True King, the Akal Takht Sahib. This is in line with the principles of Gurmat, which teach us that the solution to every problem lies in conversation and mutual understanding."
Gargaj appealed to Sikhs to follow the teachings of Gurmat and the guidance of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, encouraging them to act as true followers of the Guru and as part of Waheguru Ji's Khalsa.
He further stated that Christian issues, like those of Sikhs, can also find resolution through the Akal Takht, indicating its spiritual and moral authority in such matters.
"The great throne of Akal Takht Sahib is our own," he declared. "Our Guru gave us direction from there, and even today, we must seek that guidance, remain devoted to it, and follow the Guru’s path."
Kuldeep Singh Gargaj’s message comes as a reminder for the community to maintain unity, resolve disputes internally, and uphold Sikh values in every aspect of life.
