New Delhi, May 12, 2025: In a strongly worded address to the nation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that India’s recent missile and drone strikes on terror camps in Pakistan sent shockwaves not only through the buildings but also through the confidence of terror groups.
“When Indian missiles and drones attacked those sites in Pakistan, it was not just the buildings of the terrorist organisations but their courage also shook,” said PM Modi. He named Bhawalpur and Muridke—notorious for housing terror infrastructure—as long-standing hubs of international terrorism.
Calling them “universities of global terrorism,” the Prime Minister pointed out that major terror attacks across the world, including the 9/11 attacks in the U.S. and several deadly strikes in India, had links to these locations.
His comments come after India reportedly carried out precision strikes under Operation Sindoor, targeting high-value terror assets across the border.PM Modi reiterated that India will continue to respond firmly to any threat against its sovereignty and the safety of its citizens.
