MLA Bhullar leads anti-drug awareness campaign under ‘War Against Drugs’ mission
Ferozepur, August 3, 2025: As part of Punjab Government’s 'War Against Drugs' mission, Ferozepur Urban MLA Ranbir Singh Bhullar addressed residents from Wards 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, and 27 during an awareness program held today. He raised public awareness about the harmful effects of drugs and administered an oath to eradicate drug addiction.
MLA Bhullar reiterated that the campaign, spearheaded by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, reflects the government’s firm commitment to building a drug-free Punjab. He highlighted the encouraging results of the campaign so far, especially the widespread participation from both urban and rural areas, which strengthens the hope of achieving a healthier society in a time-bound manner.
He appealed to the public to support the mission by reporting any credible information about drug peddlers to him or the police, assuring that the identity of the informer would remain strictly confidential.
Dr. Amandeep Kaur, Coordinator of the Drug De-addiction Front (Ferozepur Urban), also addressed the gathering, noting the enthusiastic involvement of youth, women, and children from every locality she visits. She praised the community’s positive response and support for the Chief Minister’s initiative.
