Himachal: Missing schoolboys traced within 24 hours

Shimla (Himachal Pradesh), August 10, 2025: Demonstrating swift action and effective teamwork, Himachal Pradesh Police successfully traced and recovered three missing boys from Bishop Cotton School, Shimla, within 24 hours of their disappearance.
Following a written complaint from school principal Matthew P. John, New Shimla Police registered FIR No. 20/2025 under Section 137(2).
Multiple police teams were formed, and CCTV footage from various areas was examined in detail. Acting on specific leads, the teams located the boys this morning at a house near Kotkhai.
Congratulating the force, DGP Himachal Pradesh, IPS Ashok Tiwari, said, “Kudos to SSP Shimla and the entire Shimla Police team for their dedication and hard work.
