Gurmeet Khudian inaugurates ‘Punjab in Frames’ cultural photo showcase by Harpreet Sandhu

Chandigarh, August 19, 2025 — On the occasion of World Photography Day, Punjab Agriculture Minister Gurmeet Singh Khuddian inaugurated the vibrant “Punjab in Frames” photo exhibition of nature artist Harpreet Sandhu at Punjab Arts Council’s Kala Bhawan, Sector 16-B, Chandigarh. Held under the Council’s patronage, the exhibition brings together striking visuals capturing the spirit, landscapes, and heritage of Punjab.
The exhibition will run until August 21, inviting the public daily from 10am to 6pm to experience the rich tapestry of Punjab’s culture and natural beauty through photography.

Prominent figures from various sectors gathered to celebrate the launch, including Punjab Arts Council Chairman Dr Swarnjit Singh Savi, Babushahi Network Editor-in-Chief Baljit Balli, IPS Amardeep Singh Rai, former DGP GS Aujla, IRS Commissioner of Customs GST Manish Saxena, Western Command’s Col Jasdeep Sandhu, and Gurpreet Toor. Chief Information Commissioner Punjab Inderpal Singh Dhanna attended as Guest of Honour, while State Information Commissioner Harpreet Sandhu guided a pictorial walk, captivating guests with his visual storytelling.
Minister Gurmeet Singh Khuddian commended the initiative, noting, “Organizing this exhibition on World Photography Day is a befitting celebration of Punjab’s artistic vision and cultural pride. The works on display truly bring our heritage and traditions to life.”
The exhibition continues to offer a platform for art enthusiasts and the general public to connect with Punjab’s rich legacy, ensuring a memorable cultural experience for all visitors.
